PPF Film Coatings in Watertown, CT
Coating care for existing paint protection film, with compatibility checked first.

Keep your existing protective film cared for.
A coating applied over existing PPF is different from installing physical film. This service addresses compatible surface treatments for film already on a vehicle. Describe your film and the result you want to Tony before choosing a product.
What your vehicle needs
The film brand, finish, age and condition all matter. Review compatibility, manufacturer requirements, cleaning and the surfaces that would be coated. Ask Tony to clarify any proposal that uses the word film or coating.
What to expect from the result
A surface coating cannot fix torn film, lifting edges or damage underneath it. No film-installation service, film thickness or chip-proof result is implied by this page.
Preparation & aftercare
Provide your film paperwork if available, and identify any lifting, yellowing or repairs. Follow the instructions for both the film and the coating applied over it.
The plan for your vehicle

Confirm the type, finish and condition of the installed PPF.
Check compatibility
Discuss suitable coating products and necessary preparation.
Care for both layers
Keep the applicable film and coating maintenance instructions.
PPF Film Coatings FAQs
Is this PPF installation?
This page describes coating over existing film. Ask Tony separately about any film-related work you need.
Is Carbon X the same as PPF?
No. REVIVIfy Carbon X is a liquid coating. Physical PPF is a film layer.
Can a coating fix peeling film?
No. Lifting or damaged film needs assessment; coating is not an adhesive repair.
Will a coating change matte film?
Finish compatibility must be checked before treatment. Tell Tony if your film is matte or satin.
